« Any ideas for Valentines Day crafts for the older kid crowd (like grade 6-8)? Last year we did Hershey kiss roses, which they LOVED! When I do online searches though, many of the crafts seem a bit too “babyish” for these older kids, so any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Make pinecone bird feeders.
    If you like crochet make a paper weight by covering,
    slip over stone.

    make a foil family shaping aluminum foil.
    you could do a spring,summer scene by adding drink umbrella’s,miniture rugs,or sand make balls.

    make flowers from cupcake liners.. string them adding painted or food dye to stain them..

    I have been doing bead jewlery,making home made cards,painting Suncatchers,Doing Bead Kits,etc.So that is what I like to do for fun crafts,I also like to color Velvet Posters,I love puzzles,and Glueing them,and giving them as gifts,if this helps,but if you have any other questions let me know.Thanks.

    You could make speckled Easter eggs and also make baskets for them, then make a chicken pencil to go on top.
    Or make an easter egg that hatches.
    How about sand crafts for spring? You could make solid sand sculptures that set, and decorate them with buttons or beads.
